Vladimir Gusev
Born April 25, 1945 in Kalinin (now - Tver). He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Ilya Repin (1974), master's thesis.
. After graduation he worked as a scientific secretary, then - the responsible secretary of the board of the Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists.
. In 1988 he was elected a team as director of the State Russian Museum.
. A program of intensive development of the Russian Museum, which includes the restoration and reconstruction of Michael, the Stroganov Palace, Marble Palace and the Engineers' Castle.
