Remy Daza Rojas , bolivian figurative painter, was born in Cochabamba. He studied at the School of Fine Arts Ernesto de la Cárcova in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has made numerous solo and group exhibitions since 1973 in major cities in Bolivia and abroad. His work has received numerous awards and recognitions. Among the most recent: 1995 Premio Nacional Único XLIII Pintura en Salón Pedro Domingo Murillo - La Paz, Bolivia, and in 1990 1989 1983 1981 Grand Prix Pintura en Salón Nacional Pedro Domingo Murillo - La Paz, Bolivia.
