David De Noter (1818 - 1892)
The artist David Emile Joseph De Noter was born on June 24th in the Belgian city of gent in 1818.He was the son and pupil of Jan-Baptiste De Noter (1779-1842),draftsman and architest.Painter of interiors,landscapes,flowers,cityviews,still lifes and genre
scenes in the Realist and Orientalist style.He maried on 25 Novemberr 1845 with Clemence Wauters and had seven children with her.He moved with his family to Algiria where he died on January 21 in Saint Eugene Bologhine in 1892. - Work in Museum:Brussel,Kortrijk,Algiers,St.Peterburg Den Haag
